Key Findings
This review of literature focuses on research that examines the impacts that CSA and farmers markets have on farmers, consumers, and communities. From case studies of a number of farmers’ markets both rural and urban, and in three states from the east to west coasts, the paper reported research concluding that farmers markets are the "keystones" for rebuilding local food systems.
